"For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich."

How can I give?

Preferred Method: You can easily give online by use of your bank account or credit card. Since credit card donations incur additional processing fees (2-3%), we recommend giving through your bank account. You have the option to make a one-time gift or establish automatic recurring donations.

Example: Say you gave $1000 every month for a year. Via credit card, this would incur around $250 in fees. Alternatively, paying via your bank account would only cost
less than $4 for the whole year! Read more about the fees
here.

In Service: If you’d like to make a payment during a Sunday service,
check out the giving box at the back of the sanctuary.

Mail: Donations can be mailed to the church office at
GCC Offices
4870 Piedmont Ave
North Charleston, SC 29406

Church Center App: The app allows you to give via Apple Pay, credit card,
or bank account. Download the app here

Stock: If you are interested in donating via stock, please reach out to
the finance team for further instructions: finance@thegracecity.com

Why do we give?

We are stewards that shrewdly invest in the Kingdom of God because of the gospel. At Grace City, we believe giving is a personal response to the gift God has given you in Jesus Christ. All gifts directly support our ministry efforts in our community and globally.

What does the Bible say about giving?

“The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein”
Psalm 24:1

“One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much. If then you have not been faithful in the unrighteous wealth, who will entrust to you the true riches? And if you have not been faithful in that which is another’s, who will give you that which is your own? No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.”
Luke 16:10-15

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light, but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness! No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.”
Matthew 6:19-24

“But as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all earnestness, and in our love for you —see that you excel in this act of grace also.I say this not as a command, but to prove by the earnestness of others that your love also is genuine. For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich.”
2 Corinthians 8:7-9
